‘FRAUDULENT’: CCTV appeal following theft from motor vehicle in St Albans

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to help with their inquiries following a theft from a motor vehicle in St Albans.

The incident occurred between 4pm on Friday, December 15 and 10.30am on Saturday, December 16, 2023, on Tavistock Avenue.

A wallet containing cash and bank cards was taken from inside a vehicle, before the bank cards were used to make fraudulent transactions in Luton.

PC Georgie Cooper said: “It is believed that the male pictured was in the area at the time and may be able to assist with our investigation. If this is you or you recognise the man pictured, please get in contact.”
