Four people have been arrested in North Watford for drugs offences following two warrants which took place on Wednesday (December 18), led by the North Watford Safer Neighbourhood Team. Officers executed the warrants at two properties in Brett Place at around 10am. They were supported by officers from Operation Scorpion, Intervention, the Special Constabulary, as well as the dog unit. Drugs, cash and other items were seized by police. A 26-year-old man from Watford was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and a Proceeds of Crime Act offence. He has been released on police bail. A 24-year-old man, a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy, all from Watford, were arrested on suspicion of possession of class B drugs with intent to supply. They have been released on police bail. PC Mohamed Huzair, from the Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “These warrants follow a lengthy investigation into suspected drugs supply in the North Watford area. “One of our local priorities is tackling drugs in North Watford and this activity forms part of our drive to reduce drug related crime. I would urge anyone who has suspicions about drug dealing in their community to contact police with information, so we can take action.
