Graham Taylor, former England and Watford manager, has died aged 72. Taylor spent two spells in charge of Watford, leading the Hornets from the Fourth Division to second place in the First Division and a place in the Uefa Cup in the 1982-83 season. Returning to Vicarage Road for a second time in 1996,he led the club back to the Premier League in 1999 after back to back promotions. My News interviewed Graham many times and he was a great friend of our magazines. Nik Allen, founder, said: “Tragic news about Graham Taylor .. so sad .. I had many great interviews with him.” Tributes are pouring in. One of them comes from former Watford player Ashley Young who wrote: “Very sad to hear the news about Graham Taylor. A @WatfordFC legend and an absolute gentleman.” Would you like to pay tribute to Graham Taylor? Email tim@mynewsmag.co.uk
