Around 200 runners took part in Radlett Rotary Club’s annual Five Fields Fun Run event, held on the early May bank holiday.
The fun run had two courses, both completely off-road and centred around Tabard Rugby Club in Radlett. One was a 1.5km run for children under the age of 11, and the other 5km run was for everyone aged seven and over.
Kate Rudlin, president of Radlett Rotary Club, said: “Running is a brilliant way to keep fit and healthy, and by taking part in this event, runners, together with their families and friends, were also supporting various charities and good causes, both local and national.”
Kate, together with the chair of Aldenham Parish Council councillor Helen Jones, presented the medals and trophies for the two events. Medals were presented to all finishers, as well as trophies to the winners of the 1.5km race.
The day offered inflatables for children to enjoy and performances from Carmel Jazz Quartet to entertain the crowd.
