Watford FC teenager Ryan Cassidy has signed his first professional contract with the club aged just 17.
The academy striker, who is a first-year scholar at the club, has signed a pro contract that will keep him at Vicarage Road until 2020.
The Irishman has been in prolific form this season, scoring 15 goals for the under-18s and twice for the under-23s.
Cassidy took to social media to express his happiness with the contract, saying: “Very happy to sign my first professional deal for Watford F.C. want to thank everyone who has helped me to get here where I am.”
