The owner of a Radlett salon has been recognised nationally with a prestigious hairdressing award, beating competition from all over the UK and Ireland.
Amy Best, salon owner of Best in Beauty on Aldenham Road, has been handed the trophy for ‘Salon of the Year’ at the GLammies by Great Lengths awards, which took place on March 21 in London.
For 10 years, the awards have recognised the most talented extensionists up and down the country and celebrated the craft, creativity and business of hair extensions.
Amy Best said: “Winning a trophy at the GLammies is a dream come true. Extensions are my passion and I’ve worked hard to get to this point in my career. There are so many incredibly talented people working in this industry, so to be named as a winner is a huge honour. I’m delighted to be bringing this trophy home to Best in Beauty Radlett.”
As well has her prestigious trophy, salon owner Amy along with the 15 other award winners, will receive tickets for a tour of the Great Lengths production factory in Rome, with two nights five-star accommodation, meals and travel.
