A marketing professional from Hemel Hempstead has published his first book.
James Berg, 28, says he wrote 104 Social Media Content Ideas to increase sales – to help organisations increase their revenue through the use of social media.
The book provides a variety of business ideas which entrepreneurs, business owners and charities can apply. It seems James has already struck a chord as the book has been purchased by almost a thousand business owners already.
James said he believes his early success is down to the book’s simple and effective content ideas which can help boost a brand’s social media following and increase sales.
James explained why he thinks social media is so important.
He commented: “It is safe to say most people now see the benefit of being on social media. It is not just a website to share your pictures and stay in contact with friends; it is a new business development tool. It raises awareness and brings in new customers to your product/service. Using online content, you can move people through the sales journey- from awareness of your offering, to actually making a transaction with you.”
He told HemelNews why he decided to put his ideas on paper.
James commented: “I wrote this book because no one was providing simple and effective information to help businesses with their social media.
“Seeing so many businesses use ideas from the book, and hearing about all the success stories is amazing. I knew the book would work, but I never thought there would be so many success stories so early on. One business contacted me to say they made a £20,000 sale directly attributed to ideas from the book.”
