The Gerrards Cross Community Association (GXCA) is inviting residents to kick off the new year by joining them for a festive Burns Night celebration.
The charity is home to a range of clubs, societies, adult education sessions, a youth centre and leisure activities that are funded through rentals and events such as this.
On Friday, January 31, GXCA will be celebrating one of Scotland’s most famous poets, Robert Burns. The event will feature a three-course meal and a festive mix of Scottish traditions, including haggis, music and dancing.
Ahead of the Burns Night celebration, a band featuring members from The Chalfonts and Gerrard Cross are holding a free entry event to raise money for GXCA. On Friday, January 24, Well Oiled will be rocking the stage with a “high-energy mix of classic rock and pop covers”.
