Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following the death of a woman in a traffic collision in Rickmansworth.
The crash occurred shortly before 3pm on Tuesday, 24 March on White Hill, near Mount Vernon Hospital.
A silver Kia Picanto and a grey BMW 118i M Sport collided in an horrific incident attended by fire, ambulance and air ambulance services.
The passenger of the Kia, a woman in her 90s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Kia, a woman in her 60s, was airlifted to hospital with life threatening injuries where she remains at this time.
A 22-year-old man from Watford was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury, driving over the limit of a specified drug and possession of cannabis. He was transported to hospital where he remains under arrest at this time.
