Residents and staff from a Chorleywood care home came together to celebrate International Nurses Day on Monday, May 12.
Chorleywood Beaumont Care Home hosted the well-deserved celebration to thank nurses and care staff for the crucial roles that they play.
Razvan Nica, general manager at the home, said: “At Chorleywood Beaumont, we are incredibly proud to celebrate the dedication, compassion, and resilience of our nursing team.
“Each and every day, our nurses go above and beyond to provide exceptional care, offering not just medical support but comfort, kindness, and connection to our residents. Their unwavering commitment has been especially inspiring over the past year, and we are truly grateful for the professionalism and heart they bring to their work.”
Margaret Seymour, who lives at Chorleywood Beaumont, said: “I’ve never been a nurse, but I can see how hard they work every single day. It’s not an easy job, and the staff here do it with such kindness and care. They truly deserve our thanks – today and every day.”
