Evergreen Under 7 Fundraiser

A youth football club from Abbots recently held a fundraising event for the team over the holiday period. The Under 7 Evergreen football team held a well attended Easter fundraising event on Saturday, April 4. Tania Giles, organiser of the event, said: “All the children made the most of the sunshine and enjoyed the event taking part in a football tournament,  an Easter Egg hunt and a raffle. The event raised an outstanding £220 for the team. “We would like to say a special thank you from the team and parents for the generosity of local business who provided contributions towards the raffle. Also many thanks go to Verulamium Spa, Home Chic Home, Dalling & Co, Sweet as a Button, Quasar (Hemel Hempstead), Over the Moon, Budgens, Chiquitos, Gambado, Watford MOT station, Craft Tub, Candy Cart Co, Complete Décor Solutions, and to all involved in organising the event.”
