EVENTFUL MORNING: Nash Mills resident rescues snake

Published on: 28th May 2020   |   By: Amneet Kaur   |   Category: Uncategorized

Nash Mills resident Tally, with the help of her four-year-old son Oscar, rescued a corn snake that was crawling around the estate she lives in.

Tally said: “Someone from our estate had posted about the snake. I told my son about it, he loves wildlife and he was like we got to go save him mommy.

“So we phoned Ameyzoo Exotic Pet Specialist in Bovingdon to make sure the snake was innocuous. We went there and someone helped us get it in a box.”

Tally managed to get in touch with the owner of the snake who told her they did not want it back and suggested to carry it to the reptile shop.

She added: “We put it in a car and took it to Ameyzoo, on the way there it managed to get out of the box. I was having a right panic and Oscar was trying to calm me down.”

The snake that Oscar and his mother rescued will soon have a loving home as they have decided to adopt it when they move to their new home.
