A Watford resident known amongst the community for her knitted window displays has created an Easter themed display to spread some positivity.
Farzana Chaudry is passionate about her neighbourhood and for 15 years has been knitting window displays to give something back to the local community.
Her latest Easter themed creation features 18 knitted chicks and ducks with knitted eggs, with the purpose of representing how families and friends come together in an assortment of sizes, shapes and colours.
The window display has been praised on social media by the local community with one passer by saying, “I love this- so bright and colourful, just what’s needed at the moment.”
With another adding that the display brings happiness to everyone who sees it, saying, “it’s just beautiful and so full of joy. I am sure like most things you do, that it will bring so much happiness to countless people.”
Farzana has previously created knitted window displays for occasions such as the London Olympic Games in 2012 and more recently a display of knitted key workers.
The Easter display will not be her last however as she is already planning a knitted Noah’s Ark display for summer to continue spreading joy through the community.
