Police were called to St Albans last night after reports that two men had been assaulted and their vehicle damaged.
Officers were called just before 11pm to reports of a disturbance on Park Street Lane, Park Street in St Albans.
There was a strong police presence in the area with a police helicopter also in attendance at the scene along with the East of England Ambulance Service.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police said: “Police were called at just before 11pm yesterday (Sunday 18 April) to report a disturbance on Park Street Lane, Park Street, St Albans.
“Officers, including the police helicopter, and the East of England Ambulance Service attended.
“It was reported that two men were assaulted and that damage was caused to their vehicle by a group of other men.
“Their injuries were not life changing or life threatening.
“Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 101 quoting 41/28182/21.”
