Kings Langley Players (KLP) have announced their upcoming production as part of their 100th anniversary year.
The theatre group will perform the comedy farce Caught in the Net by Ray Cooney at the Theatre @ The Nap at Kings Langley Community Centre from May 15 to 17.
The play follows John Smith, who seems to be an average man but is actually married to two different women at once. Keeping his two families in different parts of London, John keeps them both blissfully unaware of each other. However, his teenage children – a girl from one family and a boy from the other – have met on the internet and are anxious to meet in person. The situation spirals out of control as John juggles outrageously with the truth.
KLP also recently announced that Leanne Allen was awarded the District 10 Sybil Conway Award for Best Female Character in a Play at this year’s NODA London Awards. The accolade recognises Leanne’s performance as LV in KLP’s production of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice last May.
