Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following a crime spree from four individuals in Gerrards Cross that included theft of a car and the break-in of a home.

At around 8.40pm on Thursday, January 19, four offenders forced entry to a property in Hillcrest Waye and carried out a search of the property.

It’s not believed that anything was taken.

Then at around 9pm on the same evening, a robbery took place on Moreland Drive. A blue Nissan Micra was stolen.

The offenders are described as four men, aged in their thirties and forties, wearing masks and dark clothing.

Staff investigator Kulbir Punia, based at Amersham police station, said: “Due to the close location of these incidents and the similarities in the description of the offenders, we believe that these incidents are linked.

“We’re appealing to any witnesses, or anyone who may have information about either incident, to please get in touch.

“We’d also appeal to anyone who may have dash-cam or doorbell footage of the local area around the times the incidents happened to please check any footage in case it may have captured something that could assist our investigation.

“Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101 or making a report online. Please quote reference 43230028753 for the burglary and reference 43230028776 for the robbery.

“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
