A man from Little Chalfont was among those honoured in The Queen’s Birthday Honours list when it was published last month.
Kevin Beaumont, secretary of Bucks Cricket Club, was awarded the British Empire Medal for his services to Minor Counties Cricket.
Beaumont has held the Bucks role for 21 years, having previously been a minor counties umpire for more than 30 years.
