Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an attempted robbery in Watford.
At around 5.45pm on Wednesday, November 12 , a 19-year-old woman was walking along a footpath near to Sutton Car Park on Estcourt Road when she was pushed by a man. He reportedly threatened her with a knife and demanded money. She sustained a slight scratch to her neck before the man ran off.
The suspect was described as a white man aged approximately 50 to 60 years old. He was said to be wearing a grey hoodie, black joggers and old brown boots, and had a long grey beard.
Detective Constable Julie Vint, from the Watford Criminal Investigation Department, said: “I appreciate the nature of this incident is concerning, and our enquiries are ongoing as we continue to piece together what happened.
