The community came together at the start of this month to mark the 20th anniversary of Reveley Lodge and the 30th anniversary of the Bushey Museum & Art Gallery.
On Sunday, June 4, residents attended the annual Garden Party at Reveley Lodge, with the occasion one of the first to be opened by new Mayor of Hertsmere, councillor Chris Myers together with his partner councillor Christian Gray, the Mayor’s Consort.
Barry Hyman, chairman of the Friends of Reveley wanted to thank the Mayor and Mayor’s consort for the interest they took in the event.
Granville Taylor, chairman of Trustees at Reveley Lodge said there was a great turnout at the event.
He said: “I want to thank the many volunteers working from early morning to late afternoon. Without our volunteers from Reveley and the Museum we could not do it, but both need more and younger helpers – like gardening at Reveley and stewards, PC boffins, archivists and art curators at the museum.”
