Music lovers across Pinner are invited to attend Harrow Choral Society’s Spring Concert, following the success of their Christmas Celebration concert.
Taking place at St Alban’s Church in North Harrow, audiences can enjoy the 90-strong choir performing sacred music for Easter by Romantic composers of the late 19th century.
Performances include John Stainer’s Crucifixion, Joseph Rheinberger’s Stabat Mater, Anton Bruckner’s beautiful motet Christus Factus Est, John Sanders’ setting of The Reproaches, and more.
The choir will perform under the baton of music director Sam Evans, accompanied by the Byron Ensemble and Paul Ayres on the organ. They will also be joined by tenor Thomas Herford and baritone Chris Webb.
