It may seem a bit early to start thinking about Christmas celebrations but unfortunately in Kings Langley the decision has already been made to cancel the Christmas Lights Event for 2020.
The event is normally extremely popular amongst the community and raises money for a lot of local charities.
However, it has been decided that the event is unfortunately not feasible to put on this year.
A Facebook post from Kings Langley Parish Council announced the sad news.
The post said: “Sadly, the event has had to be cancelled this year due to COVID. However, the lights will still be put up and we will still be running the best Christmas decorated premises competition.
“We are looking at how we might extend this competition to all households too. Let’s hope we can all get through this.”
