Thames Valley Police have released a CCTV image of a man officers want to speak to about an attempted burglary in Chalfont Saint Peter.

At around 2.30am on January 20, a man was seen climbing over a side gate of a property, before trying to gain access via the doors. When none of them were found to be open, he left the property over the side gate.

On February 28, Police released an image which was caught on CCTV of the man at the property.

Investigating officer PC Eleanor Bleech, based at Taplow police station, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who recognises the man in this image to please get in touch as we believe that the man may have information in connection with this attempted burglary.

“You can get in touch by either making a report online or by calling 101 quoting reference number 43220055597. Alternatively, for 100 per cent anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
