For anyone who may be particularly suffering after the loss of a loved one, Holy Trinity Church in Northwood is teaming up with Harrow-based charity Bereavement Care to provide help.
‘The Bereavement Journey’ is a five-week long course taking small groups through a series of topics and discussions informing the healing process after death. Each week lasts two hours and covers two topics. The presentations are organised by a trained bereavement counsellor.
Suitable to join at any time, the course has already been running successfully for more than 20 years at the Holy Trinity Church in Brompton.
A spokesperson for the church said: “This is a place where you can process your loss in groups with others who have experienced bereavement.”
The sessions will be taking place from 9.45am to 12pm on November 1, 8, 22 and 29. There will also be an open coffee morning on November 15 at 10am. To register, contact Kirsty at 01923 822990 or kshipman@htnorthood.co.uk.
