The Chalfonts Community College recently welcomed more than 100 guests for their annual Employability Skills day.
Employees from more than 35 organisations covering a variety of different industries came along to the Careers Fair, which took place at the school on Wednesday, November 9.
Year 11 students took part in interviews with external professionals and also attended four workshops of their choice including CV writing, interview skills, careers in the creative industry, hospitality, healthcare, and technology.
The school also welcomed back a number of alumni who have embarked on varied careers with many of the companies, such as Mars, Cushman & Wakefield, Zenopa, Unilever, Mace, and the Align/HS2 project. The guest list also included Sixth Form colleges and training providers.
Christine Sanders, The Chalfonts Community College’s leader for employability, said: “The feedback from the students showed that they feel motivated to achieve their future goals. We look forward to another successful event next year.”
