A woman riding an e-scooter has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Rickmansworth.
The incident took place on Church Street with police being called at around 8:21am this morning, where the woman had been using the zebra crossing on the road and been struck by a Honda Jazz.
The rider was injured, with an ambulance later taking her to Watford General Hospital. The road was closed whilst the incident was dealt with. However, her injuries are not thought to be serious.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: “We were called to a collision between a pedestrian and a Honda Jazz in Church Street, at around 8.21 am this morning.
“According to the log a woman on an e-scooter was using the zebra crossing when the incident occurred.
“The woman was injured and an ambulance was called and the road was closed whilst this was being dealt with. The woman was taken to Watford General but injuries are not thought to be serious.”
