Capture the spirit of Summer in Three Rivers

Photographers in Three Rivers have an opportunity to join in with a leisurely walk around one of the Three Rivers District’s scenic outdoor spaces.

Taking guidance from professional photographer Pete Stevens, you can enjoy the surroundings with plenty of time to capture the perfect pictures on your digital camera, Smartphone or tablet.

No expensive equipment is needed; just bring what you have and your imagination. 

Ideal for complete beginners and those looking to develop their skills further, Pete will be sharing handy tips on composition, resolution and how to use natural lighting.

Also, it’s an opportunity to get active, meet new people and enjoy the varied scenery that the spaces have to offer.

You will be accompanied by a Three Rivers Park Ranger on a few walks who will share their knowledge about the natural environment.

Walks will take place at Chorleywood House Grounds, WD3 5SL on

Wednesday 25 July, 10am – 1pm

Wednesday 22 August, 1pm – 4pm

Leavesden Country Park, WD5 0GU

Tuesday 31 July, 1pm – 4pm

Wednesday 15 August, 1pm – 4pm

Rickmansworth Aquadrome, WD3 1NB

Saturday 11 August, 10am – 1pm

There will also be an opportunity to see your photos feature in an online gallery afterwards and you could be in with the chance of winning the ‘best snap’ competition, with the prize being a framed copy of your image.
