Two Harrow District Scouts have set up their own candyfloss business in order to help fund their trip to the World Scout Jamboree this summer.
In August, 50,000 Scouts and Guides will attend the global event in South Korea.
Abi and Oli set up their business, Jambo Candyfloss, to help pay the UK contingents fee of £3,495.
The pair sourced the two candyfloss machines from Germany and have used them to great success at multiple events, including birthday parties, Harrow School’s 450th birthday event, Harrow Summer Festival, and Headstone Manor’s May Day event.
Abi said: “I’m so excited to go to South Korea in the summer, do amazing activities, meet so many people from all around the world and explore some incredible places.”
Oli said: “I love making candyfloss. It’s hard work but seeing the smiles on people’s faces is very rewarding. It’s also allowed me the opportunity to go to this once-in-a-lifetime event.”
Event organisers in need of a candyfloss stand can get in touch with Abi and Oli at jambocandyfloss@gmail.com
