Bushey welcomes Browns to its dining scene

Published on: 5th March 2026   |   By: News Desk   |   Category: Uncategorized

With the season of gathering, celebration and dining fast approaching, Bushey is set to welcome an elegant addition to its dining scene.

Having opened on Friday, November 28, Browns Brasserie & Bar is bringing its signature blend of modern British dining, creative cocktails and relaxed sophistication to the leafy Hertfordshire suburb.

It’s the perfect new spot for everything from weekend brunches, leisurely lunches and delicious dinners to cocktails, afternoon teas and special occasions.

Set within a Grade II listed building dating back to the 1600s, Browns has transformed the space to create an elegant all-day brasserie, whilst still retaining the building’s heritage.

Expect Browns signature style with a baby grand piano alongside feature wall panelling, marble and brass finishes with rich fabrics, and period features paired with contemporary touches to create a timeless yet inviting setting.

From breakfast through to dinner, menus celebrate seasonal British produce with a modern twist to classic dishes. À la carte highlights include Browns Fish Pie with salmon, smoked haddock, king prawns, Cheddar mash, peas and shallots; Butternut Squash Risotto with crispy sage and pumpkin seeds and Chicken Schnitzel with garlic butter.

Drinks complement the menu with everything from Champagne cocktails and contemporary twists on classics, to a carefully curated wine list and premium alcohol-free options.

Set to be the perfect spot for brunching, celebrating and unwinding, Browns daily brunch offers indulgent plates such as Lobster Benedict, Strawberries & Cream French Toast, and a Browns Breakfast Brioche Roll, available with a juice and hot drink from just £17. There will also be a British afternoon tea with a selection of savouries, sweet treats and warm scones, served Monday to Saturday from 3pm-5pm.

Come Sunday, the roast takes centre stage with hearty servings of premium cuts, including a selection of sharing roasts such as the 16oz Sunday Chateaubriand. Every plate comes with all the trimmings, seasonal vegetables and plenty of gravy.

With over 50 years of history and reputation for creating memorable dining experiences in Britain’s most historic towns and cities, Browns arrival is a welcome addition to Bushey – a stylish place where locals can relax, connect and celebrate.
