Boris Johnson, MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip, is tipped to be one of the leading candidates to become the next Prime Minister.

This comes shortly after Theresa May MP announced in an emotional statement that she was resigning from the role of Conservative leader and Prime Minister.

Determined to follow the result of the EU referendum, Mr Johnson MP is aiming on leaving the European Union with or without a deal.

At the start of the month, Boris Johnson MP launched his official campaign video with the message of “We’re out, deal or no deal”.

In the video, Mr Johnson MP speaks about his vision and what he would change and bring if he was the new Prime Minister.

He said: “That’s why now is the time to unite our society and unite our country. To build our infrastructure, invest in education, to improve our environment and support our fantastic NHS.”

The former foreign secretary also touched on his passion to make London safe again by increasing the amount of police on the streets and bring back stop and search.

The front runner to be the Conservative leader has been endorsed by US President, Donald Trump who thinks Mr Johnson MP will do a “good job”.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: “I don’t know that he is going to be chosen, but I think he is a very good guy, a very talented person … I think Boris would do a very good job. I think he would be excellent.”
