Berkhamsted extended their winning streak to seven games in a row this afternoon (February 1), beating Coleshill Town 1-0 at Broadwater.
After beating Wantage Town 6-0 last weekend, The Comrades proved that they can also dig deep for a victory after surviving a scare from this weekend’s visitors.
Ryan Kinnane got the only goal of the game in the first half, putting his side a goal ahead after half an hour.
Coleshill were awarded a penalty midway through the second half, but the effort was saved brilliantly by Xavi Comas Leon.
The Comrades held on in the end to take all three points, meaning they stay second in the table.
The push for promotion continues after Berkhamsted’s spectacular form since the start of the new year.
