A Bushey school is marking 30 years in its mission to provide high-quality education to children with physical disabilities and neurological impairments.
Established in 1995, the Meadow Wood School is a community special school providing education to children aged three to 11.
On Friday, June 6, the school marked the anniversary with a joyful Garden Party attended by 86 guests, including students, families, staff, local councillors, and civic dignitaries.
Guests enjoyed a vibrant day of music, arts, crafts, and shared celebration – reflecting the unique spirit and strong sense of community that Meadow Wood is known for.
Special guests included councillor Laurence Brass, chairman of Hertfordshire County Council, and councillor Mia Handley, Deputy Mayor of Hertsmere.
Cllr Brass commented: “It’s been a privilege to join Meadow Wood School in celebrating this special milestone. The warmth, dedication, and sense of community are clear to see, and the children are a real credit to the school.”
