Once again, the bluebell walk and pop-up café at the private Crosslane Wood between Chalfont St Giles and Chalfont St Peter will open to the public for two days this spring, in aid of local charity Mission EmployAble.
Visitors of all ages will be able walk on a marked path through the carpet of bluebells in the wood on Sunday, April 30, and Monday, May 1.
Erica Bendall, chair of the Mission EmployAble fundraising committee, said: “The bluebell walk was enormously popular in 2021 and 2022, with many visitors wanting to come again, so we are delighted that the wood’s owners have agreed to open it for us this year.
“This is a wonderful outing for the whole family, with delicious homemade cakes from the woodland café and also a plant stall.”
The woods will be open from 12pm to 4pm on the Sunday, and 10am to 3pm on the Monday. Tickets cost £28 for a whole family, £10 for adults, £6 for over-60s and has free entry for under 10s.
