An author from Pinner has released her latest book which features a series of anecdotes based on her travels.
Embarrassing Moments by Angela Lansbury tells a variety of stories from her time as an English teacher and speech trainer in China, Indonesia and Singapore for more than 50 years.
It includes everyday slips such as mispronounced words and travel faux pas, with each based on Angela’s own experiences.
The relatable tales aim to make readers laugh, nod in recognition, and even blush a little.
In total, there are 45 stories in Embarrassing Moments and Angela says she is “happy and very pleased” with the finished book.
She told Pinnernews: “My inspiration for the book was my own experience as a teacher and travel writer.
“It features all the awkward stuff that happens when you travel, such as when you say the wrong thing. I think it will be relatable for a lot of people and their own experiences.
“It’s different to my other books which are more practical, such as one on famous quotes and how to be a best man.”
Angela is no stranger to publishing, as she has previously released 20 other books.
Embarrassing Moments is available to buy from Amazon for £5.99.
