A local art group will display some of the many works created by its talented members at its annual exhibition in Ruislip.
Octavia Art Group, founded in 1983, will display a variety of artwork at the Cow Byre Gallery, located at Manor Farm, from Sunday, May 5, to Saturday, May 11.
These include colourful paintings in a diverse range of media, fantasy-inspired textile art, stunning wildlife photography, vibrant pieces of glass and jewellery work, nature-inspired ceramics, and prints from the artists.
There will also be demonstrations from members of Octavia Art Group throughout the week. These include a session on collages on Tuesday, May 7; a session on free-motion embroidery on
Wednesday, May 8; a session on watercolour sketches on Thursday, May 9; and finally a session on metalwork on Friday, May 10.
The exhibition will be open from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday, May 5, and from 10am to 5pm for the rest of the week. All of the demonstration sessions run from 2pm to 4.30pm.
