Published on: 14th October 2024   |   By: Nik Allen   |   Category: Uncategorized

Following a recent arrest, officers are appealing for witnesses as part of continuing enquiries into an assault in Hemel Hempstead.

At around 12.50am on Friday, August 9, an altercation occurred inside the Redz Bar on High Street.

The incident continued outside the premises, and four people were reportedly bitten while several others were assaulted.

Following enquiries, a 27-year-old woman from Hemel Hempstead was recently arrested on suspicion of assault (x4), assaulting an emergency worker and using threatening or abusive language. She has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Detective Constable Mathew Wheeler said: “I am continuing to appeal for witnesses as part of our ongoing investigation.

“I appreciate some time has passed since the initial incident, but there may be some people who saw what happened and haven’t yet spoken to the police.

“If you remember seeing anything, or have any further details, please get in touch.”

You can email DC Wheeler at Mathew.Wheeler@herts.police.uk, report information online, speak to an operator in the Force Communications Room via the online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting 41/77256/24.

Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form.
