Excitement is mounting as six young martial artists prepare to represent Team GB at the prestigious World Martial Arts Games in Oslo this November.
Hamza, Joseph, Skyler, Rayaan, Max, and Sebastian, train at the SIMAC School of Mind Body and Spirit, located in Hayes with branches in Hillingdon.
The team of fighters, ranging in age from eight to 14, have shown their dedication, skill and commitment to the sport, earning their spots on the international stage.
Speaking to NORTHWOOD&RUISLIPnews, Max’s father Danny said: “They are great role models for any young kids out there doing something positive.”
The team are also excited to represent their community at another competition to be held in Germany next year.
Asked how he feels about the achievements, Master Simac, founder of the SIMAC School, said: “The lessons they’ll learn through this experience will extend beyond the competition, preparing them for future challenges.”
A GoFundMe has been set up to help raise funds to cover the costs of travel, lodging and entry fees.

“Their mentorship has motivated these young athletes to push their limits, instilling vital values of discipline, respect and perseverance.”
