Residents have the opportunity to nominate their local heroes for the Citizen of the Year Awards.
The annual awards are run by Amersham Town Council and aim to recognise those who have gone above and beyond for the community.
Town Mayor councillor Mark Roberts has invited residents to submit nominations for the following categories: Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, and the Environmental Award.
Last year’s winners were Stan Pretty and Sally Alford for Citizen of the Year, Abi Paterson for Young Citizen of the Year, Katie and Richard Lillie for the Environmental Award, and J Brown Funeral Services and The Grocer for Business Award.
The closing date for nominations is Friday, February 24. To submit a nomination, please email
