A popular festival in Croxley is returning for another year, with the organiser promising it will be “bigger and better than ever”. CroxFest is being held this year on September 5 for its fifth time and organiser Stephen Crabtree told My Croxley News that he is really looking forward to this year’s event. He said: “We have a lineup of 10 fantastic bands this year and it really promises to be an absolutely cracking day. “Other activities including mini music sessions, face painting and a bouncy castle. Unfortunately there are no beer tents but people are more than welcome to bring along a picnic. “CroxFest is now an established event on the Croxley calendar which is terrific and the standard of bands that play just gets better and better. “We are really looking forward to putting on another fantastic day.” Another issue on the day is parking. Stephen added: “Parking on the green is very limited. I would suggest people come on foot or find alternative arrangements.” Stephen also explained that there will be a bucket collection going round on the day for people to donate towards their chosen charity, the Air Cadets.
