Hatch End High School is celebrating A Level results with their Year 12 and 13 students.
Students achieved “outstanding” results, meaning Hatch End is in the top 10 per cent of schools nationally and almost at the top one per cent.
Hatch End school said: “We achieve the top 10 per cent consistently, year on year, is something of which we are very proud and reflects the determination, hard work and ability of staff and students.”
A level students performed “exceptionally well”, with over 54 per cent of grades A*-B, an increase on the previous year and 87 per cent A*-C, above the national average.
The school is delighted that almost 90 per cent of students achieved their place at their university of choice, reflecting their results.
The school said: “It is wonderful to see so many of our students progressing to the top universities, including Tilak & Ashkar with three A*s each, off to study Economics, Vranda with A*AAAB studying Engineering at King’s College, Urvershi with AAA off to study Medicine and Siddhant studying Politics, Philosophy & Economics at SOAS with A*AAB. We are enjoying celebrating with all our students and their families today.”
