CCTV appeal following burglary in St Albans

Officers investigating a burglary in St Albans have released an image of a man they would like to speak to as part of their enquiries.

It happened at The Snug in French Row, between 1.20pm and 1.45pm on Saturday, February 2.

Offender(s) gained entry to a staff-only area and searched through coats to find a key for a safe.

They opened the safe and stole hundreds of pounds in cash before leaving the bar.

PC James McAlister, who is investigating, said: “We are keen to identify the person pictured as we believe he may have information that could help progress our investigation.”
