Published on: 10th July 2018   |   By: Jason Allen   |   Category: Uncategorized

West Herts College’s Higher Education provision, with campuses in Hemel Hempstead and Watford, has been awarded with TEF Gold accreditation.

One of only 21 colleges in England and the only college in Hertfordshire.

The Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) is an exercise introduced by the government in England, to assess higher education providers’ levels of excellence in terms of teaching and ensuring students get good outcomes, whether graduate-level employment or further study.

TEF Gold is awarded for delivering consistently outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for its students.

The TEF panel assessed that West Herts College has an integrated approach to academic and personal support systems which facilitates highly personalised learning for its students.
