A Shenley resident has expressed her thanks to the leader of Hertsmere Borough Council after work on potholes in the village was arranged by him, after months of no response from the council. Residents Sharon Rosen managed to speak to Cllr Morris Bright in May after repeatedly trying to get through to speak to a representative about the treacherous state of Shenley’s roads. However, after managing to speak to Cllr Bright about the issue, he managed to ensure the work was done swiftly and to a high standard. Sharon told My News that she was delighted with the prompt response by Cllr Bright and the whole community should be very grateful for his help.
