Abbots Langley’s annual charity Firework Display will be on this Friday (November 7) with a spectacular display. The fireworks display, organised by the Watford Lions, will take place at Manor House Playing Fields from 7.30pm. Frank Rouse, of the Watford Lions, explained there will be a 15 to 20 minute show of fireworks which are worth more than £3,000 and will be set off to music. At the event there will be hot food available and the Manor House Bar will be open. The Red Cross and a fire engine will be at the event as well as rides set up by local fairground, including a merry-go-round. The event raised £2,145 last year which paid for the display and was to donated towards the Lions nominated charities. The Manor House Playing Fields car park will be used primarily for disabled access.
