Students at a Watford school are in high spirits after the announcement of their GCSE results on August 25.
With 24 pupils earning at least nine Grade 9s, which is the equivalent of an A*, year 11 students at Watford Grammar School for Girls were thrilled with their results. This achievement levels were higher than 2019 when the students last took exams.
The school are incredibly proud of the quality of performance its students.
Headmistress Miss Tai said: “The resilience of our students is inspiring, and they have gained some fantastic results, the vast majority of students have made good progress.”
“They really have demonstrated the can do it and will do it attitude which is paramount at Watford Girls. A big thank you to our teaching staff for the tremendous support they gave their students and overcoming the many challenges experienced in the last 2 years.”
