Radlett resident Alexander S. Bermange has celebrated winning the Best Edinburgh Fringe Festival Show award for his popular show, I Wish My Life Were Like A Musical.
The Leicester Square Theatre filled with visitors and award nominees for the West End Wilma Awards 2025 on Sunday, November 2.
Alexander was among the winners announced for his show which is all about musicals and the people who love them.
Speaking to RADLETTnews, Alexander said: “The win felt like a wonderful validation for the energy and effort I invested in creating the show.
“As musical theatre is such a collaborative art form, it’s lovely to know that the cast and creative team with whom I collaborated on this production have similarly had their time and talent recognised in this way.
“I’ve been delighted by the accolades and honours the show has been blessed with through all its UK and international productions to date, and the fact that this latest award was voted for by members of the public makes it particularly special.”
Alexander has previously won an Edinburgh Fringe Theatre Award and the West End Wilma Award for Best Cabaret/Solo Performance. He has been nominated for the BroadwayWorld UK Award for Theatrical Event of the Year and the Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence, and was also included in LondonTheatre1’s top UK shows of the year.
