Police have revealed seven people were travelling in a Vauxhall Corsa that crashed into a tree and the driver had only passed her test a week earlier.
A woman was seriously injured in the crash in St Albans on the morning of June 25.
At about 10.40am, emergency rushed to reports of a collision on Toulmin Drive.

In a tweet posted by the Beds Cambs and Herts Roads Policing Unit officers wrote: There were seven people in this Corsa when it crashed into a tree in St Albans. Three occupants may have life changing injuries.
“Driver only passed her test last week.”
The tweet included a photo of the smashed car by the tree it had struck.
Two people from the car were transferred to Watford General Hospital by ambulance and a woman, thought to have a pelvic injury, was airlifted to Royal London Hospital.
