A group of aspiring actors from a Garston charity received the shock of their life when their workshop was gatecrashed by two A-list actors.
Clean Herts Community was launched by local legend and two-time world heavyweight champion boxer Anthony Joshua OBE.
On Sunday, April 13, the charity, Warner Bros. UK and actor Sam Sarpong-Broni held a workshop for 40 young actors to learn more about the industry.
But to their surprise, the workshop was interrupted by renowned actors Michael B. Jordan and Jack O’Connell, who took a break from their press tour for their new movie, Sinners, to visit the event. The pair were also joined by the film’s director Ryan Coogler.
Their entrance sent the room into chaos, as the group erupted into screams and cheers, before calming down and taking the opportunity to ask the trio about the film industry.
The group were then gifted tickets to the premiere of Sinners, where they watched the film and heard from the rest of the cast, which further inspired the young actors.
A spokesperson for the charity shared on their social media: “We are truly inspired by the young people’s determination, and we were excited to add value and boost their dreams even further!
“We wanted to say a huge thank you to Michael B. Jordan, Jack O’Connell and director Ryan Coogler for taking the time out on your tour to give our young people some words of wisdom.
“One last thank you to Samuel, the team at Warner Bros. and our volunteers for making this day so special!”
