Would your child love to be crowned ‘Prince’ or ‘Princess’ of the Parade for 2018?

Abbots Langley Community Centre are delighted to be running this competition for a second year, for two local children to ride in a horse & carriage leading the procession of floats, majorettes and walkers in the Abbots Langley Carnival parade through the village on Saturday June 9

Last years’ winners Summer Davidge and William Ramsey-White (pictured) had a wonderful day, waving to the crowds royally along the route and representing the village proudly.  Now the search has begun for the 2018 Prince & Princess.

The application form can be downloaded from www.abbotslangleycommunitycentre.co.uk and emailed to alcarnivalcrown2018@gmail.com by the closing date Saturday May 12 2018.

The winning boy and girl must be of primary school age and attend a school in the parish of Abbots Langley. They must also be able to attend the carnival on Saturday June 9 2018 and be accompanied by a parent or guardian. As well as enjoying a fabulous day and having the honour of leading the parade in a horse & carriage, the Prince & Princess will be given a crown and sash and receive complimentary party hire at the community centre.
