Spring may be on its way out, but a Pinner choir will help residents to embrace the new season in a special upcoming concert, Songs for a Summer Evening.
Jubilate Ladies’ Choir is inviting people to an entertaining evening featuring a variety of music, from musicals to choral favourites.
Led by musical director Sarah Stroh and with Simon Hester playing the piano, the choir will also showcase their repertoire from their award-winning performances at the Oundle Festival of Music & Drama earlier this year.
Speaking to Pinnernews, a spokesperson for the choir said: “We love singing at venues and festivals around the UK, but it’s also very special to us to sing ‘at home’ and especially at Pinner Methodist Church where we rehearse every week.
“We warmly invite the local Pinner community to join us for an entertaining evening of summer song.”
The choir will perform at Pinner Methodist Church at 7pm on Saturday, June 14.
Tickets cost £12 per adult and £7 per child, with refreshments included.
