A newly married couple from Hemel Hempstead were treated to their own personal check-in when they flew out of Luton Airport just hours after their wedding.
Bridegroom Daniel Quintyn, 35, wanted to surprise his bride Shelley on their wedding day and asked the airport to arrange a surprise.
When he and Shelley, both still in their wedding outfits, arrived they were greeted with their very own personal check-in, complete with their names on the screen and an arch of balloons. Champagne and a meal was provided for them in the Hawker Bar.
Daniel, who is a security officer, and Shelley, a 29-year old personal assistant met while working together in London. The couple were married at 12pm on September 12 in Hemel, before arriving at the airport still dressed in their finest.
Shelley said: “It is amazing. I am totally speechless. I thought we were going to Burger King.”
